AVOID AT ALL COST. SCAM COMPANY.
Had a boulder leak, so switched everything off without hot water or heating which stopped the leak. When this man come out from KM who by the way stunk with a bad flat cap on, straight away did not want to do the job said not an emergency as leaks over with. Sorry but if I put my boiler on the leak will start, his attitude well the leaks not here now. No S*** Sherlock. £160 to tell me what I already new and less than 1 minute in my property, alls he wanted to do was argue so he could leave.

Having read other reviews, I can say that my experience with this company seems to be the norm. In Febuary 2020 they installed a new boiler for me. Recently it started to make whistling noises so becuase it was under guarentee I contacted the manufactures. One of their engineers came and established that the fault was not with the boiler but the gas supply from the metre to the boiler and that the low gas pressure was dangerous so he capped the boiler off. I phoned K&M Maintenance on a Thursday to explain the situation and was told they would get back to me. Nothing happened so rang the following

1 slipped roof tile to push back in place viaAXA home emergency cover , no show on day 5 despite message saying they would arrive , and waited in all day.
In the end payed local roofers.
Why a multi million company like AXA are using this place is beyond me.

As with all of the other reviews, my home insurance is with AXA, and we have home emergency cover, so we had a leak in our roof, contacted AXA who passed details over to this “company”, we waited and where promised response within 24-48 hours, nothing materialised, and then an employee contacted me and advised they would come in a couple of days, apparently emergency response isn’t possible over the weekend, so that day came and went, no response, then another date promised, you guessed it - came and went, no response and no visit or contact by said employee, contacted AXA and complained

We used K&M via our insurers for a leaking boiler. They came out within 48hrs and identified the fault. Another 48hrs and the required new part had arrived and was fitted. They could have been a bit quicker but for our particular issue the response time was adequate as we still had heating and limited hot water. For both visits, the engineer called before 09.30 and gave a 2hour window for their visit time which meant we didn't have to wait around for long periods. The engineers who attended seemed to know their business and ultimately solved the problem.

K&M were referred by our insurer for a leak in the boiler which left us with no heating or hot water in minus zero temperatures this week!
The business called me out of hours to reassure we had an appointment to assess the problem. Arrived on a Saturday and determined the issue quickly there and then. Ordered a part and came back to complete the job on the Monday, 2 days earlier than expected. 100% recommended from us! Thank you.

K and M are very very poor. I had an issue with my heating system which was incorrectly diagnosed. The engineer which came out to me just looked at it and said that's the faulty part without doing any further troubleshooting or diagnostics. A second and different engineer came with the replacement part 5 DAYS later! The engineer was a different one and had the wrong replacement part and blamed the issues on the socket powering the unit. I had an independent electrician come to look at it who tested it and concluded that this wasn't an electrical issue. K and M then lied to me and my wife about

Used this company for roofing through my AXA insurance policy ... They told me we cant get out to you today and it will be in about 9 days . Booked me in for 29th Jan. I spoke to Jenny by the way.
29 th Jan comes along I phone them and ask are you coming today only to be told we put in a random date in our system bla bla bla and we cant come today. They then go on to say we have a backlog .. why the hell book me in for the 29th

This company is used in the North West for British Gas Glass, Locks, Roof, Pest cover, via AXA Home Emergency. I had an issue with a leak in my roof. Took 4 months for this 'emergency' to make any progress. Internal damage worsened. Eventually I sorted it myself. Formal complaint against them upheld. Check all call-out fees before having anyone out (over £100 to be told i needed scaffolding - which I had already told them beforehand). Never had such a poor, drawn out, frustrating level of service. Two roofing companies, 4 months, hundreds of £, on top of the premiums. Save yourself months of
