Services
When looking at a job, we don't just send a Salesman to stand on the ground looking up. We send a conservatory Service Engineer, the person with expert knowledge and know-how to assess the problem. They will carry out a thorough investigation to ascertain the root cause of the problem and may even carry out conservatory remedial work there and then.
The roof is the most vulnerable part of a conservatory and one of the most common problems is a leaking conservatory roof. Typical causes include inadequate flashings, slipped roof panels, loose cappings and leaking roof vents. Whether your roof is glass or polycarbonate, uPVC, aluminium, or timber, our expert team can assess the problem and carry out the repairs, sometimes within the first visit.
A common cause of leaks in conservatory roofs is slipped conservatory roof panels. Slipped panels create a gap at the ridge of the roof through which water can enter, along with cold drafts and noise. Slipped panels can be remedied by sliding the panels back into place and replacing any missing or broken conservatory end caps.
A sound conservatory roof ridge is vital to combat leaks and being the apex of the roof, they take a lot of ill treatment, so need to be maintained. In fact, it is not uncommon for us to be asked to investigate a leak in one area of a conservatory, only for the investigation to reveal that the problem lies in the ridge, radius end or where a ridge abuts a wall.
Conservatory guttering takes considerable punishment from the elements, from baking under direct sunlight to being frozen and straining under the weight of excessive snow loads. Such punishment can result in warped gutters, perished seals, snapped brackets and cracked guttering. If you're experiencing problems with the gutter around your conservatory, or a box gutter between the conservatory and your house wall, give us a call.

We recently found a leak in our orangery and contacted Truly Conservatory Repairs to help rectify the issue. We were asked to send a few photographs of the orangery and the affected area. After a follow up phone call an engineer visited our house and, after an inspection, rectified the issue. A very professional company which I would highly recommend. I rarely write reviews but credit where it is due. Thank you to Peter and the team.

I am surprised at the good reviews they have. I sent photos to Peter by E Mail but when the engineer arrived he had no idea about these photos and he mentioned that Peter is not in the office that day. He had a look and said it is an old conservatory and he can not do anything about it and that we have to change the whole roof, when I asked him to go on the ladder and push any slipped panels he did but was very reluctant to do so. Now the roof is leaking in 3 different sites not only one as before. When it came to payment surprise surprise Peter was in the office to take the payment !!

We have been trying to get a leak sorted out for ages, every time I go out and it rains I dread it! Tried numerous contractors and fitters over the last few years it's cost quite a lot of money but never worked long term and I could never get anyone back to do the job I'd paid them to do. I was recommended to Truly through a neighbour and they actually took the time to find out what the real cause was with a series of tests, once identified it was easy to fix, I've left it a few months before writing this review I wanted to be sure it had worked and it has I'm extremely pleased with the way I advised

We asked these guys to come and repair a couple of slipped glass conservatory panels, The guy duly arrived and went on to say that the roof had been installed incorrectly. Based on this assessment he was unable to complete the repair. Contacted his boss who quoted me £1,000 to refit the roof!. Charged me £72.00 for 45 minutes of huffing and puffing and then walked away. Thanks for nothing, nice work if you can get it.
I then asked someone else to come along (Mike from Lords Conservatory Repairs) who duly completed the work at a fraction of the cost.
My advise to anyone would be to stay well

I have had my conservatory for 15 years and started to get a leak from the centre part where the fan sits, had a couple of companys have a look and told me I need a new roof. I called Truly and their engineer Paul visited, he noticed 2 of the roof panels had slipped so re-fitted them and put some brackets on to stop them slipping again. It fixed the problem for a fraction of the cost of new roof. I would happily recommnend Truly for a fast and very inexpensive repair.
