Steve has done two jobs for me. One was to fix my daughter’s gutter and the other was replacing a flat roof for me.
Both times he was very quick in assessing and fixing the problem. He takes a real pride in his work, which shows in the finish product. Steve is very knowledgeable about what he does and is also a really nice person to deal with.

Steve has handled both a minor roofing repair and a full overhaul of my roof, including felt installation, rebattening, and relaying the existing tiles. I emailed Steve at Southern Way Roofing after a multitude of other roofers either didn't reply or didn't turn up. His communication is good and he turned up promptly to sort out a few high roof tiles. Very sensibly priced, listened to what we wanted and turned up exactly as promised. We will use him again.

Chimney was leaking. Previous quote was three times as expensive and would not have sorted the leak. Steve assessed the leak, quoted and did the job promptly and efficiently. I cannot speak highly enough
as to how pleased we are to have found a local honest roofer who sorted out a long standing problem that other roofers could not fix. Brilliant!

Can't recommend enough! Steve is a friendly, reliable and talented roofer. Kept us informed of repairs on a daily basis and was very fairly priced. He didn't leave until not only we were happy but also that he was satisfied it was a good job done which is commendable in itself. Amazing job, no more leaks first time through the recent stormy weather, couldn't be happier and will be using again. Thank you for all your hard work!

Stephen carried out repairs to the guttering and roof of our house with utmost expertise and efficiency. I spoke to several roofers prior to commissioning the work and Stephen was by far the most no-nonsense and value for money. Very pleased to have found him and already have a few more jobs lined up. Steve turned up first thing in the morning after contacting him at 4pm the day before to try and fix a cracked tile in the roof. He went and had a look at the problem and gave me 2 quotes based on if he could do the job the easier way or if it might be harder because of where the problem was. He went to buy some new tiles and the problem was fixed by lunchtime. He put the new tiles at the bottom of the roof so that the difference in colour couldn’t be seen. He even fixed our blocked gutter pipe and put a new end on the pipe. Would recommend.

Steve was a pleasure to deal with, knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable. Whoever did the roof originally did a pretty bad job, Steve was able to fully strip and come up with a solution to pitch it correctly and the re-roof, all new lead valleys and great hip and ridge work, would highly recommend if you need any roofing work carried out.

We highly recommend Steve. He was very hardworking, quick, polite and nothing was too much trouble. He gave us a fair price and did a really good, quality job. He showed us photographs each step of the way. He was clean and tidy. He offered to repair our guttering. we would like him to come back and replace our main roof in the future. Thank you 10/10
