There are many types of floodlight on the market which are perfect for a number of uses, take a quick look at the different options below to decide what is best for your needs. LED floodlights are a popular alternative to traditional metal halide, sodium and halogen floodlights. The drawback of a bigger initial outlay to purchase the product is far outweighed by the energy saving benefits that the LED floodlights have to offer.
Emergency lighting is battery powered lighting which will switch on and illuminate when the power is cut from the mains. This is usually for the people inside the building to find their way out of the building in a safe manner. Guidelines now exist which mean all new larger buildings must have the correct emergency lighting fitted whilst older buildings must retro-fit emergency lighting to ensure the building is as safe as possible.
LED low bays are ideal for warehouses and commercial premises, offering a low energy, low maintenance alternative to traditional metal halide (HQI) and sodium (SON) low bays. The energy savings are vast, often saving around 50% on energy costs compared to traditional lighting methods. The savings are even more substantial when maintenance costs are considered as these fittings can be installed and then forgotten about.
