We have completed additional courses in =open fire installation, power sweeping, thatch and historical properties, camera survey and flue testing. During the visit, we will not only thoroughly clean your flue, we will conduct checks on the installation and ventilation to name a few. The sweep will be completed with a smoke evacuation check to confirm the system is working and a certificate will be issued.

Work Guarantees: Due to concealed nature of flues, and that chimneys are affected by the way they are used, the weather and many other conditions not known to your sweep we cannot offer a guarantee.

We had issues with 'A Chimney Sweep' when he came to sweep our chimneys in 2019, he overcharged us for work done, was dishonest and deceitful, but I won't go into that right now. The reason for this review is that we have just had our chimneys swept again for the first time since 'A Chimney Sweep' came, to be told that the fire had been put back together wrong following that last sweep - the baffle plate and vermiculite bricks had been put back wrong and the rear closing plate had fallen off! This has had a massive impact on the efficiency of the fire and could have potentially been dangerous.

We have an Edwardian semi and our chimneys can be challenging at times. Simon came to sweep our wood burner chimney and went over and above our expectations.
