Doug has over 20 years experience as a skilled carpenter and kitchen fitter, and a passion for precision. His creative and inspired designs are matched with practicality and the highest standards of installation. Having designed and built his own house, and having worked on many new-build projects, Doug has acquired a broad understanding and wide set of skills that often prove invaluable in the design and installation process.
We have classified our kitchen ranges into two categories for simplicity- Classic and Contemporary. In fact many door styles transcend these boundaries and can be used to create both modern or more traditional styled kitchens, or an exciting hybrid of the two. We can highly recommend Doug Farleigh Kitchens. The whole process was excellent. Jayne was very friendly and gave really good advice on layout and appliances. We had a fairly small kitchen space to work with, including low ceilings and no straight walls so making the most of every inch was really important. Jayne was able to provide really good images so we could visual the proposed layout. We were not made to feel rushed and we did change our minds on colour and layout a couple of times until we felt we had got it right - Jayne was so helpful providing new images for us and samples. From start to finish Doug and Jayne were fantastic! They helped design our perfect kitchen to fit our life style and we absolutely love it! Jayne even recommended that we lowered our window opening since our builders made it too high! We are SO glad that we did.

We were delighted to find Doug Farleigh Kitchens when our tired old kitchen needed a complete revamp. Doug and Jayne explored lots of ideas with us and came up with an excellent design. The installation went very smoothly and Doug's workmanship and attention to detail was exceptional. The tradesmen they recommended - plumber, electrician and painter - were all first-rate. We would certainly use Doug Farleigh Kitchens again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Quite honestly I cant image a better design and fitting team in Jayne & Doug can be found in England: they really are first class.
We've had two kitchens designed and installed and on both occasions they've been delivered with faultless precision and efficency. The very highest quality of workmanship and materials.
Dougs skills as a tradesman are amongst the very best I've come across and I'm probably more qualified than most to judge as I'm a professional tradesman myself.... He's possibly more particular in my own house than I am (!), theres probably not another person I know of that could

We used Doug to design and install a large kitchen and appliances. The work was extensive, including structural work, with the aim of making an awkward L-shaped kitchen nice to use and to "flow" into the rest of a larger open plan space.
We looked at a number of different approaches to having the kitchen installed: self design; builder installed; other kitchen companies; and high end bespoke handmade kitchens.
