Roller shutter doors are versatile, strong and secure, which makes them suitable for both internal and external applications. They provide excellent security and are ideal for large warehouse and factory openings and also for smaller applications such as windows and doorways. Industrial, retail and commercial roller shutter door environments benefit from the most commonly used shutters.
GB sectional overhead doors provide maximum weather resistance, security and insulation. An insulated panelled door made from foam-filled galvanised steel or aluminium panels offering an insulating value of 0.45 W/M.Sq.k. The sectional door benefits over roller shutter doors with its ability to have larger glazed windows or fully glazed panels.
Fire resistant roller shutter doors are the most effective way of greatly reducing or containing the spread of fire. Designed to provide a fire resistance rating of up to 240 minutes with respect to the integrity criteria of BS:476 Part 22 1987. Fire Shutters are used where there is a high fire danger or open areas where a fire cannot easily be contained and close automatically at a controlled rate when activated to prevent fire from spreading.
