Peter Rushton Landscapes
We believe we are a friendly 'bunch'! We are all professionals, doing a job that we love and that enthusiasm is clearly visible on a day to day basis. I have been involved with gardens all my life. My parents were keen collectors of unusual plants, had a nursery and as a young boy I had my own stretch of garden to tend.

My parents' interest in plants led me to open my own nursery in Minchinhampton which was filled with many unusual plants mainly grown from my own cuttings. The nursery operated from 1982 until 1989 until my landscaping business took over completely. We have a great team of specialist gardeners, designers, walling experts and planters all of whom enjoy working in a landscaping environment. All of us respect the fact that we are in your home environment and so work as tidily and quietly as possible.
Services
From large country gardens, small cottage gardens and difficult or sloping gardens to water features, decking, lighting and paving we have experience of every aspect of landscape design, construction and planting. We project management your beautiful new garden or garden feature from the initial idea, concept and visualisation stage right through to the completed garden, driveway or wall.
If you are renovating your home and your garden then please call us in at the beginning! New water pipes, drainage systems and electricity cables will need to be laid across your garden and we can ensure that your garden design takes account of the needs of the interior specialists. We may even be able to reuse some of your home renovation waste as hard core!
The charm of living in Gloucestershire means the challenge of sloping and difficult gardens and it is a challenge we very much enjoy! Whatever shape or size your garden we use our expertise, experience and creativity to find a landscaping solution. Whether it is walling, paving or decking or a garden full of flowers we will work with you to create a space that fits with the geography of your garden, the lie of the land and your lifestyle.
The landscaping needs for public spaces and children's play areas are different to the requirements for gardens at home. For public spaces and play areas we think about accessibility, safety and regular maintenance whilst ensuring that the space looks attractive, works well for those using it and is cost effective to maintain.
If you don't enjoy gardening, or your gardening days are behind, you can rest assured that you can still benefit from having a wonderful garden, which is low maintenance. We can create a beautiful space whatever your needs or how much time you have available to spend maintaining your garden. Low maintenance gardens can be attractive, engaging and functional and only you need know how little time they require to look good.
