Harry Brook & Son Ltd. was established in 1946, shortly after Harry Brook finished serving in the second world war. Harry carried out small domestic plastering and roofing jobs initially, using a hand cart as a means of transport. The business quickly flourished and Harry soon employed a small workforce to help out.
