However our engineers can use the latest CCTV camera equipment to inspect pipework with just access to a few inspection covers. CCTV surveys of drains are the the most up-to-date way to get a good inspection of the pipework beneath your property, without costly, invasive or disruptive excavation.
We take care of Manhole Chamber Construction, Manhole Cover Installation and Pipe Access Installation. Our trained technicians can remove and replace any damaged drainage with new pipework. They can also remove and replace drain covers, including manhole covers and rodding eye points. Should a section of pipework be found damaged beyond repair, our technicians can locate the fault, excavate down onto the pipework and cut away damaged sections.

Simon from direct drains did a surveyed and reported on the drains on a property I'm purchasing. Simon did his up-most to find out if there was access on the property before going ahead to save me any unnecessary cost. He knew I was under a tight deadline to exchange imposed by the sellers and booked me in extremely quickly and got the report back to me well within the deadline. He's been nothing but helpful and his advice has been invaluable. I have now exchanged on the property and will be booking Simon to do the work needed. CCTV survey to review potential rat problem
Simon attended today to review our drainage due to a reason pest issue. He completed a full CCTV survey which was done to establish whether there was any problems with the foul drain system. Very thorough inspection of both ours and our neighbours drains eliminating any potential issues. Throughout the visit Simon showed us what he was doing and explained how the drainage system works.DirectDrains is a professional, family run business and although no further work is required. I telephoned on the Sunday and got an immediate response. I arranged for the drain to be cleared on the Monday as it was not urgent. The drain was cleared and on investigation found that the pipework was damaged and needed a repair. The quote was clear and concise and gave a good option to prevent further problems being an old drain run. Very happy with everything. Unfortunately I had to make an insurance claim and had to go with their preferred supplier who after much deliberation have come to the same conclusion but it is now July ! DirectDrains would have been less stressful!”

Ethan phoned me back almost immediately after my callback request was posted and offered to come out the next day. Sadly he had to cancel, but phoned in good time to let me know and was able to come out the following day. The required repair was done in under an hour and he also took the time to look at another plumbing issue I needed advice on which was much appreciated. All in all, an excellent service, thank you.

Work was accomplished across two half-day visits, one which identified the problem, the second rectified it. The engineer Ben was polite, informative and personable, and throughout explained his findings and proposed next course of action, demonstrating his experience and understanding of the issues involved. Offered advice but no pressure. Kept the site clear as work progressed and left it tidy on completion. Thoroughly recommended Direct Drains.

We turned to Direct Drains after our insurers flatly refused our claim for damaged soakaway and pipes: Direct Drains contested this decision - on our behalf - and provided a professional survey to strengthen our claim. Our insurers relented and agreed the claim, in full. Direct Drains kept us posted at regular intervals and made the whole process a lot easier. The work was arranged, and completed, in timely fashion: the drainage guys (Simon and David ) could not have been more likeable and polite. I'm a fussy so-and-so, and any worries of my driveway ending up a sorry mess were quickly dispelled

Broken drain replaced between two junctions and 15mts relined plus replace 2 manhole lids.
“I was expecting 2 guys to take 2 or 3 days , and 4 guys arrived and took 1 day. Perfect minimal disruption. They were very polite and friendly. Considering the job they do they were also very smart in company uniforms. No loud radio' s or shouting they just got on with the job. Kept me informed of progress. The tidy up at the end was faultless you genuinely wouldn't know they had dug a big trench lifted a patio and then replaced everything including the patio apart from not walking on it for a day. I

I requested their services for a blocked drain on a Friday afternoon and when they started to investigate it was apparent the job was going to take a lot longer than anticipated as my building's manhole was not visible. They returned that evening after another job and worked tirelessly, even after dark, to sort the problem. While investigating the blocked drain they identified a cracked waste pipe which they have since fixed in a separate quality job, again at very competitive price
