Devana Insulation was part of the team that achieved London's first certified Passivhaus School. The building features 340mm Larsen truss external walls and 406mm roof cassettes. The new headquarters of Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) is an EcoHouse in Ayres Street. The distinctive timber curved structure is fully insulated with cellulose-fibre to offer sustainability.
There has been a lot in the news recently about the Government's green homes grant scheme, and that made me realise that I'm now facing my fifth winter since you installed underfloor insulation for me. Before that, my long "knocked through" living room never got really warm, and on a windy night you could actually see the rugs on the floor moving up and down.
