Slate and light grey painted kitchen units, oak shelving and super-sleek Silestone worktops work well in this light airy cottage kitchen. The floor and wall kitchen units are made by Rivington and feature deep-chamfered centre panels and full height larder doors. Painted in two contrasting shades of grey, the pewter handles beautifully connect the subtle bespoke paint colours.
At the time of entering the 2015 Renovation of the Year competition run by House Beautiful magazine Tara Fry and her family lived in a 30-year-old four-bed detached house near Chepstow, Monmouthshire. Tara and her husband Arron bought the property in 2009. As part of the house renovation project the new kitchen was designed by Ann Stevens of Woodbrook Designs (Monmouth).
