Pressure Testing & Consultancy Services Ltd. is a pressure testing & engineering business based in Kelty, Fife, central Scotland just 10 minutes from the Forth Road Bridge. Whilst pressure testing remains our core business we have enhanced our reputation by successfully carrying out a range of related services including refurbishment & maintenance of commercial gas plant, heat exchangers, bath heaters and filters.
We can fabricate & install ducting and ventilation and insulation & cladding for all types of pipes and tanks. We also have procedure in place for sand blasting, protective coating and fibre glass 2 part epoxy composite repair for pipes and tanks. Is a company formed in 1990, whose main objective is to provide a service to the oil, gas and water industry. P.T.C.S. was set up by our current owner Drew Garrow, and is now run by Managing Director, Greg Garrow, who together have over 40 years working experience in the industry on various construction, testing & maintenance projects throughout the U.K. and overseas.
We will test to many specifications for Gas or Water pipelines for SGN, Scottish Water and many more Clients. Whether you require a pre-test of fabricated pipework on site or at our facility at Blairadam Forrest, PTCS Ltd pipe pressure testers have the experience and resources to deliver our services to the highest standards.
At our sheet metal workshop & insulation store we can fabricate and install all types of metal cladding, ducting and ventilation systems. Our expertise sheet metal staff have over 20 years of experience in the industry and will strive to meet our client's needs and expectations. We can also fit and supply pipe lagging, thermal blankets/jackets, pipe wrapping and protective coatings on-site or at our specialist workshop.
The complete overhaul process will include removing the plant from site and transporting to our extensive workshop where we will carry out a full inspection (visual, magnetic particle inspection and ultrasonic thickness checks), pressure test, renew all bolts, gaskets & seals, sand blast & coat using our 4 coat system of primer, 2 x MIO (or glass flake) and a 2 part epoxy top coat in the desired colour.
