Based in the heart of Standish, we cover all the surrounding areas of Wigan for external property maintenance and pest control works. I started Standish Property Maintenance and Pest Control back in 2011 fulfilling a life long ambition to work for myself with my own business. Part of that plan was to be the contractor I'd want to employ, ten years later that hasn't changed!

This has allowed us to appeal to the widest customer base possible and continue to give the highest levels of customer service. In our first year as members of Wigan Council's "Good Trader Scheme" we won the 'Highly Commended Trader Award, and have since gone on to win a number of others - a testament to our dedication to customer service and love for the work we do.

We're based in the village of Standish, in Wigan. Specialising in Landlord Services, Roofline Maintenance, External Cleaning and Pest Control. After spending much of my adult life in the military, my service has instilled values and standards that we believe set us apart from many other similar businesses.
Hi, we're Andy and Megan Clark. A Father-Daughter team. 20 years apart in age but share a common work ethic - being tidy, timely and trustworthy. Above all working together makes us happy! We truly believe our differences complement each other and Standish Property Maintenance & Pest Control so well.
Could not fault the service at all, first class. Andy came across as a very honest and honourable person. He explained every aspect of our wasp removal, arrived when he said he would, treated the nest and came back to double-check as the nest was in an awkward area of our roof. 5-star service and will use him again for other work.
Can we help you? At Standish Property Maintenance & Pest Control, we have tailored our business to suit the marketplace. We offer what many others, do not. Most recently this has been shaped due to the increase in landlord and letting agent support that we offer. Quite often, we find our customers feel nothing short of overwhelmed by some of the work they need doing.
Since starting up in 2011 we have grown substantially and continue to grow year on year. The business has been built from the ground up thanks to personal recommendation and value for money. We've established a solid reputation for high quality yet affordable work in the property maintenance industry.

Andy came out to resolve a bee issue in our attic and then again for another next to our front door, was bang on time both times and dealt with both without any issues. Genuinely couldn't recommend highly enough, really reasonably priced, professional, friendly, and gets the job done. Thank you.

We had the gutters cleaned on our house today, a reasonably large job in poor weather. This was done really efficiently with all loose brackets and joints being attended to in the process. Price was good and I highly recommend Standish Property Maintenance & Pest Control for anyone else looking for similar work.

Andy and Megan have done a variety of jobs around the house that my wife and I no longer are as able to do as we would like. We were very happy with how they worked and how much they charged. They were as helpful as we would have wanted any tradespeople to be and very clean and tidy also. I have recommended the to both family and friends as we are so impressed by their work.

Andy came out to our house in July 2019 to treat a wasps nest. I could fault the service. He came out next day, talked us through the process and his approach. As the nest was in an awkward space he couldn’t confirm it was completely treated so followed up with another visit. Absolutely 5 star service and a genuinely decent guy. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending him or using Standish property maintenance for other services.

I have known Andy for a few years now and can honestly say he is a top bloke, no job to big or small. Had an issue with a pigeon once at work and he was ready to drop what he was doing to come down and sort it out. Lucky for the pigeon it flew out!!
