S & S Fabrication and Fencing are a local family owned company based in Hull, East Yorkshire established in 1995. Supplying top quality wrought iron gates, fencing and railings, we have built up a solid reputation for style and durability. The areas we cover are Hull and surrounding areas, York and North Yorkshire, and North Lincolnshire.
Our pedestrian gates are manufactured and powder coated to high standards in our Hull based workshop. Rather than only tacked at the front and the back, All our products are all fully welded to give strength and durability. We normally use 30 x 30mm steel box section for the gate frames rather than flat bar which gives more strength and avoids sagging.
Over at S & S Fabrication and Fencing, our railings are manufactured and powder coated to high standards in our workshop. Instead of the usual approach of been tacked at the front and back, our products are all fully welded to give strength and durability. Furthermore, all our products are galvanised (dipped in hot zinc to form a extra protective coating) first to ensure highest quality and minimum maintenance.
From single steel framed garden gates to large manual sliding gates, S & S Fabrication and Fencing can offer a solution to your requirements. Our steel framed gates with wooden inserts combine privacy with style and added durability. The steel frame is normally made from either 30 x 30mm or 40 x 40mm box section depending on the overall size of gate.
We offer a number of wooden fencing options, including lap panels, close board fencing and feather edged fencing. We can offer wood or concrete posts and gravel boards if required. If you need S & S Fabrications to remove and dispose your old fencing, we will be happy to provide a free no obligation estimate.

We used S&S Fabrication to make metal gates with tongue and groove timber inlay. Very professional throughout from measuring up, to fitting the gates. Very high standard of workmanship. Communication was very good. Will definitely use S&S Fabrication for any future requirements.

Requested 30m of tanalised, feather edge fence (Panels H 5ft, W 6ft) with concrete uprights and gravel boards.
Originally arranged before COVID with deposit being placed. On finding that the job wouldn't be possible (lack of material availability) given COVID there was a no questions asked refund of the deposit.
Due to the straight forward and honest experience with S&S before COVID, re-arranged when possible for spring of 2021.
Job took 3 days, with a team of 3 polite, friendly, hard working chaps. Couple of challenges with roots and some unexpected old buried concrete, however, the team were

Great service and great product from these guys. Explained that an alternative contractor had let us down and we were up against a tight deadline, we needed replacement driveway gates prior to the new driveway being laid. They met the deadline no problem. Had them to quote further work and will use them again.

We are very happy with the service and turnaround we received from this company. We initially explained that we had a tight deadline to get a fencing structure installed. They visited our property and provided a competitive quote - we asked about different materials and they offered to do the research and source the materials for us. Highly recommended.
