With more than 30 years experience in the drainage industry, we believe drain clearance to be the core of our business. Whether you're a commercial or domestic customer, we aim to provided a quick and reliable service 24hours a day, which is why we believe customers return time after time. Using traditional and mechanical techniques, we are able to clear blocked toilets, sinks, gullies, manholes and even the most deep-rooted blockages.
Although most sink and kitchen blockages are usually caused by a build up of waste in the basin trap, on occasions, the blockage can be further down the waste pipe making it very difficult to clear. Our electronic coil is able to manoeuvre around several deviations, breaking up congealed waste and restoring flow to sinks, showers and kitchen waste pipes.
A blocked drain can be a pain at the best of time but in a commercial situation this can pose all sorts of problems for your staff and customers. At A1 we treat every blockage seriously - that's why for emergency situations we aim to be with you within the hour to prevent a loss of time, disruption and money for your business.
Planned maintenance contracts are an effective way of preventing unexpected drain blockages that can cause disruption, damage and high call out costs for your business. At A1 we can offer a free pre-maintenance survey to assess the site and establish a good maintenance arrangement tailored to suite your business.
High-pressure tanker jetting is often used for commercial drainage lines such as hospitals, schools, car parks and factories. The high flow rate combined with water volume is ideal for maintaining long drainage runs, large bore pipes and sewer lines. Using the correct mechanical attachment we are able to remove silts, debris, cement, encrustation and mass root ingress.

They came to my sons property, to locate a bad sulphur smell in the kitchen. When washing hands in the upstairs bathroom.
Right away they knew what it was
The engineer was very polite ,professional and knowledgeable.
He even went as far as taking his boots off when entering the property. Without being asked!
I cant recommend him highly enough.

Had to call the guys out in an emergency the other day for a totally blocked drain. They were there same day and sorted everything out, even though it was a stubborn blockage. No fuss, very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Fantastic from start to finish. Lead replacement water pipes. Quote sent quickly and an explanation why they couldn't start for a few weeks Very competitive price. They replaced the pipes and worked out the best way to do it with minimum upheaval so we didn't have to take up floor coverings etc. The workers were very polite, hard working, professional and just got on with the job. The best experience we've had with any of the jobs we've had done. Would recommend

Two previous plumbing/drainage companies sent by our insurance company couldn't help and were a nightmare to deal with! We wasted over a week trying to find a solution.
