Services
If an additional inscription is required for an existing memorial, we can survey the memorial in situ. We will photograph the memorial and submit a free quotation for the required work. This survey will be conducted by a qualified monumental stonemason with a minimum of thirty years experience. Losing my Mum was the worst thing that ever happened to me and deciding on what to put on her headstone was a daunting prospect.
Over time, even the most robust memorial can become damaged or weather-worn. Our team of masons can restore most memorials to their original condition. If however, we feel that there is too much damage or wear for renovation to be economically viable, we shall be happy to help you choose a replacement.

Steve and his wife were extremely helpful guiding me to the right headstone for my Mum. I had an extremely short timescale from choosing it to getting it erected and they managed to do this with days to spare. Couldn't be any happier with the end result, a fitting tribute to my wonderful Mum and brother and exactly what we wanted. Wow I am shocked that this company deal with people grieving. They appear to have no time for people going through a difficult time. Has taken so long to get hold of them only to be told that we was taking up his time on the phone and that he doesnt get payed for phone calls. I'll be coming to see you soon . Hopefully you have more compassion in person than over the phone.

Cold and more about the money they dont get paid to answer phone calls than dealing with the terribly painful time of loosing someone. Not interested in existing plots and adding a recently deceased to it. Difficult to get hold of and difficult to deal with. I'm shocked at the great reviews they previously have. Perhaps during covid (an already difficult time) they have lost their way. Never have I come accross such coldness in a time already so painful. I would not recommend this company. Death isn't a regular thing that we all deal with and i expect more professionalism and care in such a painful

My husband and I recently had a stone done by Dobsons for our precious Son, from start to finish they were truly amazing. Our sons stone was put in place last week, We can honestly say it’s amazing, the craftsmanship and detail is outstanding. We would recommend Dobsons anyone looking for a stone for their loved ones.

Many thanks to Steve Dobson for a beautiful head stone, my mum and family were more than happy with the service we received.
