The appliances, cupboards and worktops are set out so they're easily accessible, and the bins are tucked away in the cupboard. The little utility room we have is a life saver; we can throw everything in there and close the door.
The garden is also really large, and we didn't expect that with a new build. As we tentatively consider human interaction once again and return to some kind of normality, I reflect on.

What our carpets have looked like since moving in and they have avoided fixing. Still have a list of snags which haven’t been sorted and we’ve been living here for 3 years. Whole building and neighbours have… all had lists of problems, leaks in walls and ceilings, mould, pipes bursting, patchy uneven plastering, poorly ventilated bathrooms, broken fittings, sewage smells within the walls. Terrible experience.
