John Gillies originally founded Johnson Gillies in 1986, established in Hatton Garden, London and providing specialist commercial Building Surveying services. In the new millennium Johnson Gillies opened a new office in South Kensington were focused on specialist surveys to residential property, particularly high value houses in Central London.

Our professional institution, RICS, has identified four levels of residential pre acquisition survey, called, level 1, 2, 3 and 4. All except Level 1 are suitable for due diligence.
