D A Davies and company founded by owner David is a small group of craftsmen specialising in traditional carpentry and joinery and based in the Wye valley. Using traditional methods and responsible building products in all our projects means we have distinctive care for how our work sits within the natural environment.
Each task is considered unique and, from the smallest piece of furniture to massive roof trusses, is undertaken with exacting skill and meticulous attention to detail. Every piece of wood is hand finished to an exceptional standard and individually coloured and polished to each client's personal requirement.

D.A. Davies & Co' can convert your furniture concept into a reality with our bespoke furniture making service. In the small selection of examples shown our customers have given us their concepts which have been realised through exacting craftsmanship and fashioned in carefully selected timber, producing long lasting traditionally constructed bespoke tables, chests, kitchen islands, beds.
If you wish to recreate a traditional Tudor, Victorian or other style of truss or structural timber work we can create timbers to blend in or emulate these traditional styles. We have also produced many square cut contemporary or simply styled timbers for more contemporary wood work features which are sited to barn conversions and new extensions and embrace traditional carpentry methods and materials.
