Services
Love Wood was founded in 2007 by Clive and Gina Leacock. Originally from Watford, this is where Clive started his career in cabinet making. After college days Clive took an apprenticeship working for years with old school cabinet makers. Then moving on to his claim to fame - making furniture and sets for "Harry Potter".
For many of us a beautiful new kitchen comes behind only perhaps our home in terms of the investment required, which is why it is important to spend time thinking about who to choose to make your dream kitchen. At Lovewood we fully appreciate the significance of this decision, and we believe that there are several reasons why choosing us helps to make these dreams a reality:-.
Then this service is for you. We can make your kitchen look like that dream that you always wanted. Its all our usual handmade products. You choose the style, the colour, the the wood, the plinth, the handles, even the shape of cornice can be made for you. You can mix and match the doors, the woods, the colours and shake it all up a bit to create your own unique look.
All Love Wood Kitchens are truly bespoke, designed and handmade. Many companies use the word bespoke to describe a standard product that they customise to fit its purpose. Everything we do is made to measure and created specifically for you.
Love Wood's favourite timber is oak - the timber of kings. Oak is one of the strongest types of wood, whether it's English, European or even American Oak. Its grain is full of character and has historically always been associated with quality furniture. It's a very versatile timber and is happily used in contemporary and traditional kitchens alike from doors through to solid oak worktops.

We had a hand made kitchen, utility room and boot room all made my Clive at Lovewood. We’re very happy with the finished product, it all looks stunning. Any small snags we had after installation were soon put right by Clive. Overall we are very happy and would definitely recommend.

From the first time I found Clive's website I knew I was going to have a great experience. It was clear from the website and the reviews that Clive has a real passion for his craft. He and Gina visited our home several times to discuss our ideas and give us their invaluable advice. The design process enabled me to add in changes and my whims and quirky ideas were incorporated meticulously. Nothing was too much trouble and Clive accommodated my ideas with skill. When it came to fitting the kitchen Clive was able to work along side and with the builders who were renovating our recently purchased

Avoid unless you want to be made to feel stupid!
Been looking everywhere for a rustic oak kitchen for our 300 year old cottage. I called up to discuss a bespoke kitchen, but I wish I hadn't. The girl on the phone was patronising to the point of being rude. She didn't even let me tell her what we were looking for, just talked over me and because time was tight just told me to look off the peg. No, that is not what I am looking for.
I'd avoid these guys, they clearly don't need the business.
