Bought wood from here today, very surprised on turning up at the site as to the amount of choice of wood, ironmongery and loads of other useful items. The quality and prices are excellent and I'll be going again shortly before starting my next project. All the yard staff were wearing masks that I saw. Every time I've been there I've found the customer service of its yard staff very good as it was today.

About Us Report

Baskervilles was founded in 1916 by Mr George Baskerville an experienced demolition and steeplejack contractor. The Sales yard was opened in Martin Street Cobridge to sell salvaged items from the demolition, recycling as much as possible. We moved to our current Location, Milburn Road; Cobridge Ind Estate in 1977 under the watchful eye of Mr Roy Chadwick (Managing Director 1950 - 2002) nephew of George Baskerville.

So pleased a bit of snow didn't stop these guys opening over the festive season as we needed the last few bricks to finish our extension. The ladies working were really helpful. We will definitely be back. Thanks 👍

I recently went to Baskervilles and was really surprised with the choice of items they sell, not only in the reclamation side but they have a building with all lovely Christmas items in & an assortment of fire place accessories, post boxes of all sizes and garden furniture. It's was very surprising will definitely be going back
