Together we are time served craftsmen and highly skilled memorial masons with over 25 years experience in the memorial masonry trade. We have both won national awards for our craft work over the years. We have been very proud to serve local families in our previous employment with a well known local masonry company.
In 2012 the business was sold to a large Co-operative society so shortly after we decided to come together and open our very own local independent stone masonry business based at The Old Sack Factory Scole, near Diss.

It is very likely that all of us at some point in our lives will face the difficult and painful task of choosing a memorial for a loved one. A final tribute to honour the one you love. For many of us we would not even know where to even begin which can make the process even more unsettling to start.
Whether it's for an anniversary, special occasion or you simply feel that your loved ones memorial stone requires some professional assistance, something that you may like to consider is our Memorial Restoration Service. The memorial may just need re-levelling or it might require a full clean, renovation of the inscription lettering and re-fixing to modern Cemetery and Churchyard regulations.

We hoped an old 30 year Headstone could be updated and we went to Bierton & Woods on recommendation.
We are so pleased we did, the stone has now been replaced and looks like new but isn't. The stone has been cleaned and writing added which matches perfectly. Everyone has been friendly and professional. We would recommend.

Bierton and Woods have done a brilliant job of supplying and installing our Silestone worktops. From the initial stage of looking at various samples to the final fitting, they were really helpful, had a non pushy attitude and were cheaper than other places that I’d tried. The installers were clean and highly skilled with attention to detail and finish, thanks again to the B & W team for a fantastic job

Kitchen worktops and a date stone; I went to Bierton and Woods on a recommendation and I am very glad I did. They had a wonderful range of stone on site that you could touch and see. Not the little samples but full slabs. they listened and advised and never tried to sell. the confidence they displayed on the day, that I would receive a product I would be well crafted and finished to a high standard was exactly what I received. a wonderful product well finished on time with a smile. I cannot recommend them enough.
