A J Murray Furniture Restorations

I have just collected my restored child's rocking chair and I couldn't be more pleased. A very professional but friendly service from Anthony. He has done a fantastic job on the chair which was in an extremely sorry state when I left it with him. The chair has been really sympathetically restored, is still obviously an 80+-year old piece of furniture, but is now safe and looks better than it has in many years. I would highly recommend.

We had 2 pieces of furniture renovated, it was a excellent job and completed on time as promised. I would recommend to all who would like their furniture brought back to original condition.

I almost cried when I got our G plan dining table and chairs back from Anthony....wow...what a fabulous job. The suite was my parents andwe wanted it restoring in their honour. Its a late 60's suite made of teak with beautiful chevron patterning. Absolute transformation from unloved..scratched..water stained table...flat seated chairs with rickety backs to a beautiful work of art. Thank you so much xxxxxx

Living in Brighton we found it very expensive to have our furniture restored locally, but after searching the internet we found A J Murray in Wigan, Lancashire and found it more cost effective to courier our furniture to them and have it restored and returned to us by courier. We received an absolutely first class restoration of our sixties Ercol dining room furniture. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Anthony Murray is a true master of his craft.

After renovating and updating my cottage I was no longer happy with the look of my wooden furniture which was all dark wood and looking dated. I searched online for local furniture restorers and contacted Furniture Restorations to see if it was possible to do anything with these old pieces.
