I started the business in 2001. My love of space, art and design leading the way into the refurbishment and interior design arena. My beginnings however where quite different; initially studying art, business and the craft of board-working (creative/ stage / personal wig making) I instead took a leap into industry and joined a large retail corporation beginning a successful sales and business career.
Jay Decor gives the complete answer to all your interior design requirements. We cover all aspects from the simple painting and decorating of a room to full interior design, refurbishment, professional paper hanging, plastering, tiling, joinery and the project management of fitting kitchens and bathrooms.
We work with businesses, property developers, private home owners and councils creating space that helps increase productivity and health. Our environment consciously and subconsciously influences peoples moods and energy on a daily basis. Interior design can be powerful; influencing the emotions of owners, employees and customers.
With a portfolio of completed projects, we pay attention to what's current in order to offer our clients the very best in what's new, exciting and exquisite. We constantly add to our current design awareness and inspiration in both products and services by visiting trade shows, galleries, exhibitions, shops, homes and markets within the UK and overseas.
Jay has done great work with my business and home to improve how the space looks, feels and functions. She was great at asking helpful questions and helping to better use what we already had and managing our budget for renovations very well. We felt the interior was due for an upgrade. We were delighted when Flintshire-based designer Jayne Hopwood agreed to take part in the project, and the results are an outstanding success.
