Based in Liverpool, HB Kitchens is an established family run business with over 20 years' experience of designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke quality kitchens in Liverpool and the Merseyside area. Julien McDonald first established the business in 2000, working from a small workshop in Lucern St, Lark lane.

Our kitchen was over 30 years old and in much neeed of replacement but there was so much on the market we were unsure of where to start. Above standard workmanship, thoughtful, passionate, polite. I could go on and on with the plaudits deserved by Julien and his team but much has already been said. I had several quotes and saw many different styles from a variety of well known suppliers, inc Wren and Magnet Kitchens, but Julien actually listened to ME when I explained what I wanted. The design was quite simple but the hidden extras left a very positive impression on me. Prices are very competitive especially when compared to the excellent quality of work and materials used. We love our kitchen and thoroughly enjoy spending time in it. I would happily recommend Hand Built Kitchens. The service they provided was excellent. Julien was very helpful through every stage of the project from design to on site coordination with our builder to ensure everything was in the correct position when it came to installation. Julien and his team have just completed our kitchen and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. When Julien first visited us we only had drawings for our new extension, however his ability to visualise, design and plan how our kitchen would work was very impressive. Julien helped design and install our kitchen around 8 months ago. We're so pleased with the results; it's a great place to be, the quality of the kitchen feels really reassuring, and it's fitted beautifully. He assisted us to source a plumber and builder to remove an internal wall which really opened up the space.
His design has created a wonderful living space and vastly enhanced our storage capacity.
