Covering the whole of East Sussex we undertake all aspects of building and carpentry work whether it is a simple maintenance job, complete extension or a new build.
As an established building firm we have the skills and experience to guide you through your project from the initial concept to its completion. Matthew will personally oversee every part of the building process using our own in- house team and, where applicable, specialist subcontractors with whom we have excellent and longstanding relationships.
Much of our work centres on the creation of timber frame buildings and extensions, whether it be simply a structural element or a design feature of the build using solid oak timbers. Using the natural beauty of green oak and traditional skills, we will also construct individually unique garages, summerhouses, garden studios, outbuildings and pergolas.
As highly qualified and experienced craftsmen, we can cover all your internal carpentry needs. With the highest level City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery coupled with extensive experience, Matthew and the team are able to cover all your internal carpentry needs, including first and second fix, door hanging and laying wooden flooring.
We undertake all aspects of general property maintenance work including UPVC or timber facias and soffits, guttering, timber and roof repairs, re-pointing and internal and external decoration. We can also renovate or repair existing windows and internal and external doors. We pride ourselves on being courteous, professional and friendly and will endeavour to minimise the disruption to the household or workplace.

Faultless. Very punctual, extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was done exactly as promised and even things which I had not foreseen. Very high quality of work too. I would have no hesitation in using Matthew Budd and his team again or recommending them to friends. My other builders also enjoyed working with them as they were so helpful and accommodating.
