We've been growing, supplying and laying across the South West for the last 40 years. During that time, we've helped homeowners, landscapers and commercial clients create beautiful outdoor spaces. We supply turf and topsoil to thousands of private gardens every year. These range from a few dozen rolls for someone who knows nothing about grass to large and elaborate gardens belonging to serious gardeners.
We supply turf to landscapers who operate at all levels, from entire new housing estates to the smallest gardens. Some of our other commercial customers include golf courses, camp sites, garden centres, local house builders, utility companies and groundworkers. We are also asked to turf landscaping projects for businesses such as country hotels, Exeter Cathedral, municipal grounds and business premises.

Services
HCT Turf is a partnership established in 1973 by Vernon Hockley and George Cann, to supply turf and topsoil to homeowners, landscape gardeners and building developers. 25 years later as the business expanded Vernon's son Richard became an integral member of the team. And more recently George's daughter Stephanie has also come on board.

Brilliant Turf. Used frequently on Clients jobs and for our own garden most recently. Been laid for three weeks now and ready for its first cut, took root really quickly. Following a terrible experience from another well known national supplier, resulting in delivery delays, ruined turf and refunds still pending to the day, I reached out to HCT turf upon recommendation in a cry for help. The lady non the phone was incredibly helpful and managed to turn around a speedy delivery within 24 hours. This was very much appreciated after all the hassle and meant that we could get the garden straight ASAP. Delivery man was friendly and very helpful in wheelbarrowing the sods to our back gate from the road (tricky access). A week later and the turf has already started to

First off.... Only company that got back to me, quickly and helpfully.
Great freindly customer service, both over the phone and on delivery. Very difficult circumstances on the day, the driver handled the situation with great humour. Thankyou! We wasn't sure if we would get any turf to do the job, but you guys delivered in more ways than one!
Turf was left on the border by Richard and I came and laid it this evening....
That now equals one… happy set of parents who now have a front garden with less of a slope on it! It's taken a year to do with work, weather and play but boy we are happy with the result!
