We carry out all aspects of decorating for both private homes (modern and period) and commercial properties and site work. We generally work in a 50 mile radius covering Wiltshire, Berkshire, Avon and Oxfordshire, though often further afield. We specialise in decorative restoration to period and heritage buildings where due care is required.
Wall coverings and broken colour work are of particular interest. Realising the importance of professionalism and integrity. We have recently decorated a number of properties in The Ampneys, Poulton, Fairford and South Cerney area of Gloucestershire & the Cotswolds. Steven Wood Decorators was established in the 1980s by Steven Wood, who has been a painter and decorator himself with a passion for over 40 years.
Steven and his dedicated team are all qualified, and have an on-going apprenticeship scheme run in conjunction with the Swindon College. Over the years we have built up a genuine trust with our clients with our passion, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I wanted a complex pattern wallpaper applied to one wall above our stairs. A small but technical and tricky job. I contacted two wallpaper specialists in the Marlborough area. One did not even have the courtesy to bother replying, but fortunately Steven did. He was totally professional and a really nice person to meet and talk with. He did the job absolutely perfectly for a competitive price. I could not be more happy to recommend him for internal decoration work.
