We are thrilled with our recent loft conversion from Abbey. The team led by Pellumb were professional, thorough, friendly and respectful. They were reliable and organised and we hardly knew that they were there, our neighbours also said the same and said they barely heard them so it made for an easy going build. The workmanship was excellent and the team maximised everything in the build to create maximum light and space. The roof is so well insulated now that the whole house is so much warmer. Please do not entertain contracting with this company for your loft conversion, it will mean no end of stress, poor project management, poor communication, downright rudeness and they are the most unprofessional organisation I have ever experienced. They will deny responsibility, deny the facts to their own trade body federation and even deny ever knowing you. They use different company names. If you do entertain contracting with this company for your loft conversion, ask them, do you deny using the name of your previously dissolved company?

We really couldn’t recommend the team at Abbey enough. We had a tough ceiling height we needed to achieve in our loft without dropping the first floor ceilings. Abbey achieved what we were told was impossible by other loft conversion specialists and finished four weeks ahead of schedule. Our build team were incredible, led by Gjon, they were hugely respectful of our living area and of Covid restrictions as the build started in lockdown. We can’t thank the team enough for our beautiful new room and for the whole experience from start to finish which I don’t think could have been any better

Abbey have just carried out a loft conversion on my house and we are really happy with the results. The customer care and communication from the initial set up with Amanda (who organised visits for us to previous conversions) right through to the follow up call by Guy has been exemplary.
Our project manager, Rob, was great. He set up a WhatsApp group for the job with all the team on it and responded swiftly to all requests and messages and kept us informed along the way.
The build led by Peter was incredibly fast and efficient. We felt in really good hands with him, he really knows his stuff

We found Abbey Lofts to be extremely professional throughout the construction of our mansard loft extension. The build quality was exceptional and the project was completed on time and within budget. I have used Abbey Lofts twice, for loft conversions on different houses, eight years apart. Both experiences were excellent and left us with a new, massive bedroom and ensuite to be proud of.
The builders were skilled, considerate, and we had many good conversations to figure out design details and practical challenges. They quite often went out of their way to accommodate, without a murmur of complaint.
Project management was attentive, with queries resolved quickly and tradesmen well organised. The price was good too - excellent value for a quality build and a great experience.

I have just used them for my loft conversion. The customer service is the worst I've ever received- I've been trying to get my bathroom ordered and then completed since January but the builders just walked off the job and I have been told they won't come back. I couldn't be more unhappy. The whole process from start to finish was a disaster. My recommendation is don't touch this Abbey Partnership with a barge pole! I'm writing this in my unfinished loft bedroom 6 months after the deadline and absolutely no-one is interested in sorting out the issues. If you use them

We used Abbey Lofts for a loft conversion. We were very happy with the work done by Abbey and the whole process from start to finish. They took the time to answer our many questions before we committed to working with them. The work started on time and the team on site worked extremely hard throughout the build, the area was kept clean, tidy and safe throughout. The team both onsite and in the office were all friendly and courteous. It's a great finished product which we are very much enjoying. Would highly recommend.

Abbey Lofts Parnership Ltd = huge stress. We were fooled by their clever marketing services; they are very good at deceitful sales techniques. The salesman promised us the earth and at a fixed price but what we found was that when the process started, this salesman was no longer available for discussion and the price he promised soon escalated. They took our roof off and then demanded additional monies for one reason after another. When I refused to pay the requested extras, everybody just walked off site and we were left with our property open to the elements this over the Christmas period. We

We chose Abbey Partnership after reading some "excellent" reviews on the Trustpilot site. However, we soon realised that what we were experiencing was completely different from what we had read so concluded that the reviews must have been entirely bogus and just made up. Firstly, we were not provided with any project manager so we didn't know when their builders were due to be on site and when they were not. Firstly, the service is in no way representative of the sales people I dealt with who I found excellent, but the issues that have appeared once the works have started have been a nightmare and the service is utter garbage. Firstly, it took weeks to sort trivial snags and even then when finished they were unacceptable. In the end I stopped reporting small things as I got sick of their workmen covering my house in ****, dragging it in off the street.
However the main issue is that my loft room bathroom is leaking which has caused considerable damage to the bedrooms below the loft. This was reported

I would give them 0 star if I could.
The entire flat was flooded on the first night after completion of works due to a not connected waste pipe in the en-suite shower. Carpets had to be replaced, ceiling repaired, damaged wardrobes, walls repainted. We discovered a blocked sewer pipe which was full stuffed of bricks, wood and insulating wool. We then endured months of hassle and having to chase Abbey Partnership to fix the issues which are not yet resolved. Our bedroom ceiling was damaged and is not yet repaired as well as we are awaiting entire ground floor flooring of the flat to be changed due

Shocking! Avoid Abbey Partnership at all costs I can't believe I have to give them one star to post this review. Stay clear from these cowboys, totally unprofessional doing very poor workmanship! They appear to be quite active around Potters Bar BE WARNED! They came and sounded very professional specially this man named Guy. We trusted him and paid a large £6,000 deposit to him in cash in exchange for a discount as he requested. This company is well known for the old trick of providing you with a cheap quote and acting in a professional way before the work starts, other clients of theirs

Having wanted to extend my house for many years, I finally called Abbey Lofts and this is after trying 3 other companies. Abbey Lofts are professional in absolutely every way. The timing of the survey. The timing of delivery. The chaps who built the loft extension. The tidiness of the work from beginning to end. Abbey Lofts are brilliant.
