Excellent service from start to finish, we cannot recommend Dryfix enough for damp remedial work! As first time buyers we contacted Dryfix for a damp/condensation survey. Russel was extremely thorough, professional and friendly walking us through the substantial damp issues he had found in his survey. As not all investigations could be done on the day Russel came back at a later date to make sure he captured everything and cost the repair work, explaining all the options we had. The Dryfix team who carried out the repairs were polite, considerate of us and the neighbours, and worked hard to complete

I asked DryFix to carry out a timber survey on a property I was looking to buy and was very satisfied with the service they provided. Russell did a thorough timber and damp survey and highlighted several areas in need of attention. This is also very good for owners of existing properties as they can find and fix issues with damp before they become too much of a problem. Highly recommended for all damp and timber surveying.

We experienced significant rising damp issues at our tenanted property in York. Russell surveyed the property , identified the cause and recommended full repair works to stop the the issues reoccurring (guttering, drainage, insulation and damp proof course), the work was carried out to schedule and cost and we were delighted with the quality of work carried out. Dryfix are not necessarily the cheapest quote you will find but their work is excellent and comes with a guarantee, so we regard it as great value for money.

A recent hombuyers survey highlighted some issues that needed a specialist survey. We approached Dryfix to complete this on our behalf as prefered not to use the estate agents appointed surveyor.
Russell was very prompt in attending the site and competing the survey which included wall tie corrosion, damp issues and problems with a lack of lintels above windows and doors, as well as a few other issues that had not been highlighted in the homebuyer report.
The reports, photos and explanation of everything was superb and truly gave us an understanding of what is now required to bring the house

It was a huge task required and we were blown away by the hard work, skill and professionalism of James & Alan and finally, Jack who all did an amazing job damp proofing our ground floor. We… were so impressed by how clean and tidy the guys kept the environment considering the level of work and by how little the work interrupted our day to day life!

Dryfix has now completed 2 projects for me, each with unique challenges.
I can't fault Russell, Fraser and their team, they do excellent work. The latest has taken about 6 months to complete, I got regular updates with pictures to explain how everything was progressing and nothing was too much trouble.
