Futons 247 is the internet trading site of The Futon Shop Limited. We are a family company, based in Plymouth, Devon, and have been working with futons and sofabeds since 1994. Our aim is to focus on the traditional aspects of futons; quality, service and value for money. We want our customers to get many years good service out of their purchase and tell all their friends!
If you require your purchase to be delivered we offer FREE delivery throughout the UK mainland on weekdays. If you live 'off-shore' in the UK, such as the Scottish Isles, then there is an additional delivery charge, please call or mail us for a quote. Stock items are delivered within 4 to 7 working days.
Our range of fabric choices are illustrated below. We're sure you will appreciate the difficulties of getting exact colour reproduction on a computer screen, it can't replicate the light in your room, or the refelection of your decor! If you would like a fabric sample please call or e-mail us and we will be happy to oblige.

As a futon novice, I was grateful to receive some great advice from Futons247 about the best futon mattress for my needs. Based on this, I ordered the traditional 8 layer, and the scandi base, and the whole process was straightforward and supported by Peter when I had any queries. The futon arrived in good time and on the promised delivery day, and I was kept up to date by the carrier. The bed is clearly well made and beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with it or the buying experience. We absolutely love our Domo click clack sofa. Measurements and descriptions were accurate which was important as we needed to fit it into a small space. This sofa has great storage within its base.
Moreover, we are very pleased with the personalised service that Peter Farrow at Futons 247 provided. We live a fair distance from this Futon Shop, almost on the other side of the country but amidst the chaos of the pandemic and Brexit he was always contactable and kept us up to date with manufacturing and delivery. Thank you so much for our wonderful futon. It fits perfectly in our campervan and is really very comfy. Very excited to have it on our adventures.

It took me a year to finally take the plunge and buy an authentic futon mattress. Peter was extremely helpful and patient answering all of my questions and helping me to decide if futon Sleeping was for me. I did a lot of research into the huge variety and quality of futons on the market. I chose to go with Futons247 not only for the excellent customer service, but because I knew the mattress was made in line with UK fire regulations and was made with quality materials. I also purchased a folding tatami mat and mattress protector.

Love, love, love! I bought the Loft Living Tatami Set, and I can honestly say that I've never slept so well. Its been life-changing! High quality and comfortable, my back pain seems to have disappeared. I'm so happy I made the decision to purchase these as they are not only great-looking and very comfortable but also flexible. You can have them together, separately, stacked on top of each other or as an 'L' shape.

Beautiful, top quality mattresses and tatamis-- and great costumer service. We ordered a set of monk futon bed roll mattresses and folding tatamis to create two guest beds. From initial queries to sort out the appropriate combination, to the final delivery, Peter offered the best costumer care I have experienced from a furniture company. The order arrived on time and was delivered straight to our flat--absolutely no hassle. The tatamis are of extremely good quality. The make is beautiful and they fold away nicely into a carrier fabric bag. The mattresses are comfy and fresh, perfect for guests

Peter was very helpful and proactive regarding the type of mattress I would need and size necessary. Very knowledgeable.
Very pleased with my new custom made futon mattress bought to use on an existing futon frame from Ligne Roset. It smells very natural & is very much more comfortable as a sofa than my previous foam mattress was. Supplied with Velcro loops to attach it to the frame.
Unfortunately the company was let down by unreliability of the courier they used for delivery of my futon - DX. Waited in all day (11 hours) and no sign of it or apology of non arrival. When it did arrive 2 days

Brilliant personal attention to detail from Peter, although there were a few delivery issues from the courier company he was constantly in touch leaving me fully up to date with what was happening. The Innovations Sofa Bed is brilliant, well worth the wait on the lead time and I managed to assemble it all on my own - quite proud of that! It comes in two pieces as well so as we were putting it upstairs it was easy to move (obviously didn't do that bit on my own!) . Initially it looks scary, but step by step I really isn't that hard ... just take a deep breath when you attach the buttons :o) ...

What a find! In an age of click and collect or make your choice and see what arrives, it was a real pleasure to discover Futons247 on the web. We knew we were up against it trying to discover a full width double bed futon, that would pull out from the front and not require side or rear access - but they had not one but two to choose from.
