HS Wood Flooring is a specialist flooring company in London founded and managed by Tim Hobern (right). He learnt his craft through his family owned floor fitting company, but this was not enough to satisfy the drive to be the best. Tim set out to build his own flooring company with the blessings and support of his family and former employer and has since grown HS Wood Flooring into respectable and sustainable business.
HS wood flooring is one of the leading hardwood floor installation service in London. We know about the characteristics of wood: how it responds to temperature, humidity, footfall, spills and stains. We are master craftsmen within the narrow field of bespoke fitted floors. We strive to give you top quality at a fair price.
You can make a huge difference by taking good care of the floor: keep your floors clean by using the right cleaning fluid and see how the lustre stays longer. We can recommend. A professional maintenance programme. The programme depends on the wood, the way it is treated, the wear it gets, and whether it's at home or in a showroom.
We are very concerned about the environment, so we install floors that are fully certified by the international timber trade (see " protecting the origin of species"). The beauty of wood is its warmth and versatility. It is also renewable and recyclable. We buy timber that has its own distinctive hardness, colour, grain and finish.

I have been extremely happy with the result and how Tim and his team worked to replace and install the new wood floor. The result is amazing and the team kept me informed via whatsapp every day with the status of the work. This made it so much easier for me to oversee the renovations without being on the premises and was really appreciated. Definitely recommended!!!!!

We had our new hardwood floor installed by H.S Wood Flooring and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Everything from the communication to the final result was fantastic. Danny was at hand to answer any questions we had throughout the project. The installer, Zee, worked tirelessly hour after after to ensure that we got the best possible result we could hope for while being able to stick to our tight schedule. The price was incredibly competitive given the standard of the end result. We couldn’t have asked for me and are thrilled with our new floor. 10/10 for quality, value, professionalism, responsiveness

H S Wood Flooring did an excellent job laying new engineered oak in one part of our open plan living area and sanding and finishing the existing part to match. Adam was punctual, kept us informed at each step. He was quick, tidy (very) and a pleasure to deal with. We're thrilled with the result.

I really can't recommend HS Flooring highly enough. If only other contractors operated to their high standards! We've used them twice in the last year - once for reconditioning and updating existing flooring, and more recently for a new wooden staircase and basement floor. They've done a brilliant job on both, with great attention to detail and finish, delivered on time, at a very good price and have been a delight to deal with.

Excellent service from HS Wood Flooring. I was given thorough floor fitting quotes and everything was properly explained before I even decided to commission the work. Tim was proactive in coming to my property to inspect the space. Job was done with professionalism and in excellent time, in fact the work was finished before anticipated. I was kept informed of work progress on regular basis with texts and photos. Overall very impressed with the work, I am fully satisfied! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone wanting wood flooring.

Tim saved the day after someone else unfortunately ruined my floor. Not only did Julio and Memo from HS Wood Flooring do an extraordinary job (the floors are so beautiful every other tradesmen involved in the decoration has commented!) but they were so easy to work with. Super professional, incredibly nice, and really good at what they do. These guys are worth every penny and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you so much!
