We manufacture and fit, all types of softwood and hardwood wooden gates in our workshops in Earls colne in Essex and deliver all over the UK. Gates range from basic closeboard side gates to fully framed, morticed and tenoned driveway gates. Price indications of standard sized gates are detailed below, however gates are also made to order to specific sizes.
We manufacture our driveway gates in FSC Certified kiln dried softwood or Sapele hardwood. Prices of all driveway gates are per pair. When you add the gates to your basket, appropriate fittings will be suggested. Yes we have our own team of fitters and can fit our gates in Essex, Suffolk and some parts of London Cambridge and Hertfordshire. If you have your own contractor we can supply our gates to them to fit themselves. We can only automate gates within an hours drive of our workshops. This enables us to maintain our high quality service for any automation call outs required.
At the moment we can only deliver large items (such as gates) to local customers (most CO, CM and IP postcodes). This is to ensure the quality of your products on arrival. Delivery charge will be calculated at check out. The cost will vary depending on your location and whether you're ordering a small or large product.

From quote to installation, it has been a pleasure working with Tarmec and Croft. Jane was so patient, Andy so helpful during measurement and the installation crew didn't leave a trace apart from some lovely new gates! The quality is top notch and they are really reasonably priced for what you receive. We had our installation date booked in early and even though there is a long lead in time - it's well worth the wait! Installed on time and they even managed to beat the rain! 100% recommending to anyone who needs gates and fencing.

Really pleased with the service that Tarmec and Croft offered us in first of all coming to do a proper visit and subsequently following it up with a very quick quote. Email communications were excellent at all times and the date for the work to be done was booked well in advance and the work was then completed on the original dates that were given. The installed fence was completed very professionally and without any fuss. Both workmen simply got on with the task, leaving us completely satisfied after their two days of work. I can only give them praise and wish all other companies would operate

Superb service from Tarmec and Croft Fencing. My bespoke driveway gates look great, quality build. The automation is simple but effective and extremely versatile and easy to use. Jane was great from start to finish and Andy and his colleague were punctual and did a fine Instalation. I highly recommend this company because they do what they say they are going to do. Pricing was really competitive and I am really pleased with the end product.
