GLM Stone Sales have been established over 30 years and are based at the Hagg Wood Stone Quarry on the Woodhead Road to Holmfirth. We are not merely stone merchants but are also expert stone masons providing a bespoke service to Architechts, Builders and home owners alike. As well as supplying locally within the Yorkshire/Derbyshire region, we can also arrange delivery anywhere within the UK mainland.
We produce Heads, Cills, Quoins, Corbels and Jambs from locally quarried sandstone. With thought and care in choice and design these products can drastically enhance the aesthetics of any building. Our Heads, Cills, Quoins, Corbels and Jambs can be cut to size and shaped to any specification and design.
Our Indian stone roof slates are cut from new sandstone and can be left natural or they can be weathered to blend in with surrounding buildings or match as closely as possible existing roof slates. Replica stone ridge tiles are available to complete your project and which can also be aged to match the roof slates.
We sell Reclaimed Yorkshire Stone Roof slates by the tonne. The slates are carefully removed from existing buildings, cleaned and re-palleted ready for dispatch. We often sell them in crates, but we can for an additional charge course them out for you. We will then produce free of charge of batten schedule for you to work from.
