Clients come to Jo's studio because they want a fresh, innovative and workable solution whilst needing the skills of both someone with architectural and interior design knowledge. Her clients want their spaces to flow, to work perfectly for their unique situation internally whilst harmonizing with the conditions of the exterior.

The industry of interior design has changed in recent years and Jo was starting her design business right in the thick of it. She doesn't follow outdated techniques and she doesn't teach methods in the ways of typical schools. Jo worked with over 60 clients in her first year of business without any previous contacts and without a portfolio or body of work.

We can highly recommend Jo for interior design as well as architectural work. We had her work on a complete make-over of our house where a previous architect took advantage of our lack of experience. We were looking to extend our house and both my and my wife acknowledged that interior design was not our forte. We scoured the Internet and were drawn to Jo because she had both interior design and architecture experience.
She was absolutely brilliant, she spent time to understand how we live in the house - what our thoughts were and was not afraid to challenge our thinking in a positive way. Jo has been invaluable in creating a design that realises our dream home whilst overcoming many building constraints. Jo’s approach to design was holistic, taking into consideration the flow and style of the house, which resulted in a design that was beyond our expectations. Well were do I start? We had some vague ideas about the sort of extension we wanted for our new build house but it wasn't until we fortuitously found Jo (via our builder) that we were able, with Jo's help and guidance, to shape the plans that eventually led us to having the most amazing dining space, complementing our beautiful home. I was hoping to purchase an old cottage and put my own stamp on it. She was able to share my vision..and expand my vision. What I love about Jo is that she takes her time listening to my ideas. Prior to the meeting, Jo already did some research on the property based on the info I gave her. As a total beginner to any type of interior design, I hired Jo to help design the interior for our new house. I've know Jo for quite a few years and i have watched with great interest her unfolding career. Last year when we decided that we needed to get a new kitchen, Jo was the first person we went to for help and advice.
