We also install smart switches, battery storage solutions, EV charge stations - and we provide repairs, maintenance and service for existing solar PV systems. The solar panels we install are selected with performance, quality of build and ethical standards of the manufacturing company in mind. We have been operating for fourteen years, and were one of the very first renewable energy companies to achieve MCS accreditation in 2009.
Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels contain semi-conductors such as silicon, which convert solar radiation into electricity. The DC (direct current) electricity produced is then (usually) fed through an inverter to produce AC electricity at a voltage and frequency suitable for general use. Electricity produced by solar PV panels is noiseless, 100% emission free and almost always FAR cheaper than buying it from an electricity supplier.
This photo shows an in-roof system being installed. The system used is Viridian Clearline, which is simple to install on new roofs at felt and batten stage. Tiles or slates are then completed, Making for a seamless roof. This system is also feeding a Tesla Powerwall2 battery. Solar panels can be mounted on flat roofs without penetrating the roof membrane if this is preferable.

We asked our new-build developer to recommend a company to install solar panels and they recommended Ecocetera, and a friend recommended them too after a recent install.
Ecocetera did a great job. They were helpful exploring the different options to work out the best solution, the team were always prompt and professional for the survey and the install.
The installation went really well and would recommend Ecocetera to others in the area.

I got quotes from FIVE solar installers in total, nobody really seemed to get what I wanted until I found Conrad and Jeannie at Ecocetera.
Unlike others, his quote and survey of the house and checks for suitability were significantly more in depth and reassuring than any other company. This meant visiting the house, examining the roof, the loft, the electrics and working out exactly how it would be fitted. No other installer did this. In fact, no other solar company even took the time to understand what I wanted, which was basically as much solar as you could possibly squeeze on the roof!
