Our turf laying can help with everything from a brand new lawn to a sports pitch. If you're giving your garden a makeover, it's the ideal time to get a soft new lawn. How much turf do you need? We can help you work it out and if it's a lot we can off load it with our own Fork Truck. Cannot praise A1 Turf enough! Had 4 tonnes of topsoil delivered earlier in the week and not only is it lovely soil, the driver was on time, very polite and even he laid a sheet down over my slate boarders to stop the soil ruining it when it was tipped out.
Then yesterday morning I called wanting some turf to hopefully collect same day (thinking it would be a long shot at such short notice) but Jodie in the office was brilliant and got straight back to me to say they had the exact amount I needed! Winner!!
The chap who loaded the turf into the van was very helpful and friendly so a big thank you

Paid a visit to the Sheffield branch and the staff were very helpful and let me look at some turf. Placed my order at the beginning of the week and my order was delivered on the Saturday on time. Delivery driver was very helpful and got the wagon as close as he could to the lawn to make unloading easy. Quality of the grass is fantastic for the money and it's completely transformed my garden. THANKS A1 great job.

We have had turf previously from A1 and we have been so pleased with the quality and customer service. I recently ordered logs for our wood burner, I asked if it was seasoned wood the answer was very vague, when we lit our burner, burning the logs, it was quite clear that they have not been seasoned, so now they will be stored for 12 - 18 months or so. Having looked on the website it states clearly that the logs are seasoned, no they are not,, be aware, Very disappointed to say the least.

Nice staff who were very helpful and easy to deal with. I spoke with Nikki a few times and she was very helpful and chipper, in spite of being busy as hell. Allowed me to change my order at very little notice. Had soil and turf on separate days, both drivers were really helpful. Top soil was good quality and very reasonably priced. The turf was also great quality. I would highly recommend this company.

Really polite on the phones and a good service from them. Quality top soil and turf delivery times on point and quick also the drivers are helpful. Highly recommended can supply for big and small jobs nothing is too much trouble for them best firm locally. Only downside is after their opening hours you can't cancel or change an order for the following day my recommendation is to try and sort out an alternative 😁

Delivered on time, all rolls looked great. Had a small issue after 3 weeks, called to ask for advice and the help was exceptional. Also cheaper than all the competition and the lawn looks brilliant now. Would recommend whole heartedly - the bad reviews I can only attribute to people being rude to the staff as they're all great people! Even the delivery driver helped position the rolls exactly where I asked on delivery.
