McCallum Ceilings
We offer a large variety of ceiling systems, tiles and finishes, including all the British Standard specific ceilings for food hygiene and laboratory standards. Quick to install compared to masonry or timber frame alternatives and allows transformation of building layouts with minimal disruption. We specialise in all types of suspended ceilings, partitions and integrated lighting.

We are based in Central Scotland but cover the whole of the UK. The company was formed in 1997 and continues to grow strong. We are enjoying working with customers and completing projects across the UK. We can carry out the entire job from supply and fit, supply only or labour only depending on the customer requirements.

We have no problems in working alongside other trades and have our own in house Electrician if and when required. We have been working alongside McCallum Ceilings now for over 13 years, John and his team are truly great people and it's been a pleasure to work with these guys for so long. I would have no hesitation in recommending John and McCallum Ceilings for the work they do.

When you walk into an office, how often do you look up and admire the suspended ceiling? If you are honest, then the answer will be 'never', or at least, not very often! The only time a suspended ceiling is noticeable is when there is something wrong - a flickering light or a damp stain perhaps.
A typical grid ceiling consists of a grid-work of metal channels in the shape of an upside-down "T", suspended on wires from the overhead structure. Each cell is then filled with lightweight mineral fibre / Gyproc or metal ceiling tiles or "panels" which simply drop into the grid, and is a staple of modern construction and architecture in both residential and commercial applications modern.
MF is a suspended ceiling system suitable for most internal dry lining applications. The fully concealed grid and ceiling lining can be used in conjunction with Gyproc plasterboards and Gyptone and Rigitone acoustic ceiling boards to create a seamless, monolithic appearance. Improvements to acoustic and fire performance can be achieved without the need to access the room above.
Ceiling insulation is an excellent way to retain heat between the floor and underside of the roof and keep your room cool in the Summer. Ceiling insulation can be easier to install than roof insulation, as access to the roof can often be more difficult. Additionally, insulating your roof requires more planning to accommodate different roof types.
Ceiling Tiles have a long history in improving and aiding room acoustics. When attached directly to a ceiling or when used as a drop ceiling, acoustic ceiling panels and sound absorbing drop ceiling tiles provide effective noise control. Offered in a wide variety of materials, sizes, and designs, acoustic ceiling tiles are an easy solution for improving the acoustical qualities of any space.
