In 2010, Jem Centres acquired new premises in the Old Swan area, a former builders merchants. This enabled us to bring together our warehouse, transport depot, and sales departments, forming a larger outlet that carries a huge range of stock.

Jemcrete Ltd Trading as Jem Centres is an independent Builders merchant based in Liverpool. Our premises in West Derby was our workshop. Due to demand in the area we opened up a small counter premises at the site called THE OFFCUT selling basic Diy products, timber, Glass etc to the public. The retail side of the business grew into what was then renamed as JEM BUILDING & DIY CENTRES.

We operate a daily delivery service Mon-Sat, for building products, supplies and aggregates across Liverpool & Merseyside. Often the same day or on a day convenient for you. With a mixed fleet of vehicles we are able to deliver to addresses either with our 'Crane off service' or addresses that are less accessible we have small delivery vehicles.

Not impressed when visited your shop on long moor lane today it was 1.30 when I waited 10 minutes to get served and i finally was served i asked for 2 pieces of wood 1 mtr by 60 cms and was told no he couldn't do it. It would take to long to prep it for me. I have spent alot of money in your shop but i won't be going there again 👎👎

Excellent staff. Willing to help. I phoned up to enquire about a part to fix my toilet. When I call to the shop the fellar knew exactly what I needed before I took the old broken part out the bag.
They don't make you feel stupid when you ask for advice.
Excellent staff and well equipped for your DIY.
