I started my career in timber building manufacture & design over 30 years ago working for well respected North Shields Timber Building Manufacturer J F Potts & Son Ltd. Starting as a yard lad, then moving on to the manufacturing side of the company gaining valuable experience and many qualifications along the way.
The good old apex roof garden shed, looks good in any garden, great storage area with plenty of central headroom. The door can be fitted to either end and can be right or left hand hinged, then you can choose exactly where you want your window. We have a wide range of preservative treatments to choose from.
The 'Plessey' Pent shed is by far our most poular design, a very traditional style and very versatile. The door and windows can be positioned on any of the four sides. You can have the roof sloping in any direction. Lots of internal space and headroom with lots of shelf space. We have a wide range of wood preservatives available, which are all applied by hand.
The Cheviot Chalet is similar in design to our apex roof shed, but built with the long side to the front with the doors in the centre and one window either side. The roof has a small overhang at the front with scaloped fascias. Choose from a wide range of preservative treatments. Colour combinations can make the Cheviot Chalet look more than just a garden shed.
Looking for somethin a little different? Well the Embleton is definitaly the one for you. Calling it a shed doesn't really do it justice. Designed by David, it has proved a very popular design. It's attractive appearance combined with great colour combinations will make it will look stunning in any garden.

After looking around for a good sturdy well built shed I found North East Sheds & Summerhouses Ltd who from the first phone call to the last was very knowledgeable and easy to understand my shape and size of shed I was thinking would be impossible but not for North East Sheds & Summerhouses Ltd Who have built and erected the exact size and shape I needed I love it and the size is 11x11x 6’x6’ love it good friendly lads turned up erected the shed cleaned up in 2hours well done would recommend these North East Sheds & Summerhouses Ltd every time Alan Small

I’ve just had a 7 x 5 pent style shed delivered and I am very pleased with it. It is a great quality product and was so easy to erect. The pre-treated floor, the sides and roof are all made from proper tongue and groove timber.
The sides came complete, even the door was hung prior to delivery, which makes erecting the shed even easier. (I understand from 2020, the doors will no longer be hung though .. so be quick)
When the shed was ready I was able to see it fully assembled at the workshop, which helps to visualise the final product. 3 bolts per corner means it is very easy to put together
