We are a 3rd generation family run business, designing and manufacturing high quality bespoke sofas, chairs, corner sofas, and sofa-beds since the 1940's at TailorMade Sofas High Wycombe. In the early years the business concentrated on manufacturing for independent retail stores throughout the country.
However, in 1990 we decided to change direction and manufacture directly for the public. We have a large showroom in High Wycombe with our workshop above; we also have a large car park with free parking. In the showroom you will discover a variety of traditional, modern, and contemporary designs, together with a comprehensive selection of high quality fabric ranges to choose from.
In order for you to achieve the right look and comfort we have various types of cushion interiors available, including foam, quallafill fibre, and feather. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will guide you through your options helping you to customise you sofa, chair, corner sofa, or sofa-bed. All orders are handmade by experienced craftsmen and women; each piece is individually built to customer specifications.

Services
TailorMade Sofas is a family run business that has been going since the 1940s. They design and manufacture high quality sofas, chairs, sofabeds and corner groups in High Wycombe. In the early years the business was run by John Hawkins and concentrated on manufacturing small nursing chairs. There were designed by John for retail stores throughout the country.
TailorMade Sofas manufacture every sofa, chair, corner sofa, and sofa-bed in our workshop which is above our Showroom in High Wycombe. We have complete control over every aspect of the manufacturing process that your chosen piece will go through. We have quality control inspections at every stage of manufacture.
A: We have standard sizes but, as we make every piece specifically for you, we can alter any dimensions by any amount. This could mean a change in length, depth, height of back, height of arm or even height of seat. A: No - there would be no extra charge to change arm or seat height or to make it smaller.

This company is fantastic, I'm very tall and suffer with my back ever so often, the time and the patience of the Melanie in the show room was wonderful, I had the sofa raised and was built perfect for me, It was delivered on time the chaps who delivered my lovely new corner unit were fabulous, all in all the experience with this company was above and beyond. I recommend 100%, A massive Thankyou to every member of the team at Tailor made sofas 👍

Excellent service from start to finish. The choice available and advice given in the showroom was fantastic. Upon delivery the extra trouble taken to put the sofa in place was outstanding. And finally the quality of the sofa is superb. All our visitors over Christmas have expressed their approval. Well worth the overall expenditure and have already recommended the service to a friend.

I've just taken delivery and a footstool and sofa. Michael, Melanie and the team have been brilliant. I live in an old terrace house where the doorways aren't very wide, Michael and his colleague bought the sofa I wanted up to house to make sure it would get in and fit in the room before I bought it and Melanie was very good explaining about the different fabrics and ordering samples for me. A very happy customer. Thank you
