Having sufficient knowledge and understanding of how floor-laying craftsmen carried out their work years ago is definitely beneficial to anyone attempting to repair a parquet floor, and our guys have all been taught the basics of how it was originally done. Fortunately the ancient skills have not all been lost through the mists of time, and have been passed on by Craftsmen over the years who often took on apprentices.

Most floors we have reclaimed had not seen the light of day for years or had been badly neglected. Floorfix recently sanded and re-sealed our community club hall floor some 12 or so years after it was last renovated. The result has been fantastic - it looks great. Rob and his assistant were very good and took all relevant precautions both regarding covid guidelines and taking care not to cause any damage. Time will tell how well it stands up to treatment but Rob has provided information about caring of and maintenance for the floor. Would certainly recommend the firm.

Floorfixer totally transformed the Oak Floor in my lounge. I could not be more thrilled with the finished result. From quoting to finishing the job they were professional, thorough and obviously took immense pride in their work. On the day they arrived on time and took such care that their machines & tools didn't leave any mess. They even left some felt pads & a new mop for me to use! I really couldn't recommend this firm highly enough, wouldn't hesitate in using them again.
