We prefer to contact you via sms or email, but if neither are available, we will contact you by telephone once we've processed your request. If you provide an email and/or mobile number, we will send you a link with a proposed date. One of our lawn experts will visit your property and carry out a lawn analysis.
We'll also need to carry out a lawn analysis to find out what problems your lawn is suffering from and explain how our services can help. We have various ways of carrying out a lawn analysis and quote, and our most popular is an Off-site Quote. If you choose an off-site quote, we'll measure your lawn using the latest satellite imagery.
Weeds can grow from seeds which land on your lawn. Seeds can end up on your lawn via many different ways, such as through the wind or from passing birds. Apart from being unsightly, weeds are generally much hardier than grass plants. They can survivie for much longer during periods of drought, and will constantly compete for space and nutrients.
Speedwells are a common variety of lawn weed. The two most common speedwells are germander speedwell (Veronica chamaedrys) and slender speedwell (Veronica filiformis). The selective herbicides available on both the professional and domestic markets are only effective during a short window each year.
Moss reproduces through spores, which are like tiny seeds. Domestic lawns often have a layer of thatch. Thatch offers a perfect environment for these spores to grow and for the plant to flourish. By the time the weather warms up again in the spring, moss can easily have taken over an entire lawn, leaving only a small number of grass plants visible.
