They never let you know what time they're coming and there's never anyone there to answer when you try to find out as Housing Associations can never seem to tell you either. Calls disconnect after 5 minutes or so if you sit there waiting for someone to answer. "Press 7" to talk to a receptionist who's never there. This is a pain when you're waiting to go to work. If you can't get through to them and have to go, you then have your landlords pestering afterwards. Played this game a few times in the past now and it's not fun. Have actually spoken to a few people there about it as well as SARH but

They have two different numbers to ring for housing association Tennant's and paying customers and the housing association Tennant's are given all the rubbish engineers who litterally haven't got a clue. They come out to do a standard gas safety check and break your boiler. Everytime they come out they break something!

I've had huge problems with the combi boiler for more than two years - since March 2019, where the hot water run out after a few minutes and the boiler pressure kept dropping. I'd almost given up hope of ever having hot water again and resigning myself to cold baths and hairwashes, until -after innumerable visits with no lasting resolution - they sent Dan their lead engineer, a few weeks ago. To cut a VERY long story short the problem was calcification in the main radiator with the result that the outlet for the water had almost closed up resulting in cold water. The boiler was fitted promptly and on time. The fitter took care and left no mess. He was friendly. The electrician - also good - who was due to follow on afterwards took a further 3-4 hours to show up because he had missed us out, but by that evening, we were firing on gas.
However, the next morning, I thought I could smell gas around the boiler in the cupboard but was not entirely sure - I should have trusted my instincts and phoned phoenix gas at that time - Friday morning. I finally did email them on Saturday morning, as the gas smell was clearly not going away. They sent a gas safety person

I got Phoenix Gas out to service my boiler, it took weeks for the gas certificate to come through. I was also told I'd need a repair, as the pressure on my boiler kept dropping. I had British gas come out to fix it instead. The engineer from British gas said it was an easy fix, and he was baffled as to why it wasn't fixed during the service. I suspect that Phoenix wanted to come back and repair it themselves, charging me a fortune in the process

First contact ; Very friendly professional customer service, a sales man Ryan was sent within two hours of my enquiry, He was friendly, informative and wore a mask a much appreciated bonus in current times.
It was explained our boiler needed replacing asap and we were advised that there was space on Monday and the customer service team would be in touch. Within 2hours we had a call advised what we would like to go ahead
