Asked them for a quote to replace a bifold shower door, it took 2 weeks for them to do a quote (they did not even come out) and the quote was £800.
I did my own research and that brought the cost to £200 and their hourly rate was £45.
When I asked why they estimated 13 hours to fit the door they got very cagey and would not give a straight answer.
To my mind, someone was trying to pull a fast one on me and will not admit it.
I am not happy with this, especially seeing as these guys used to be pretty good a couple of years ago.

I had a guy called Chris come and do an Electrical inspection and saftey test. My wife asked if he could wait 10 minutes for me to get home as she has a neurological disorder. He explained what he was going to do. After doing his inspection he said that we had a couple of faults which he the search for and fixed and replaced a smoke detector. If I ever need any electrical work doing again I would ask for Chris again.

Booker & Best were called to fix my central heating which had stopped working during the very cold weather in February. After each visit from 3 different engineers the heating was made to work then broke down again shortly afterwards. Finally, it stopped and Booker & Best insisted the problem was being caused by a blockage and needed a £500 flush to get it working again! This I doubted and kept insisting they send another engineer to check the system which they refused to do unless I agreed to having the system flushed through!

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Had a simple job of putting a Fire door from hallway to garage (single brick wall)
Knocked hole in wall NO dust sheets, put it in wrong position, damaged flooring with angle grinder, contaminated my possessions with brick dust. Took over four weeks and seven trades people to complete the job.
I would say a bunch of cowboys but cowboys are useful (exception of the carpenter)
