Services
Please read through each stage below to familiarise yourself with the pattern imprinted concrete installation process. Concrete is delivered to site and is either barrowed or pumped onto the driveway. The concrete is levelled to a depth of 100mm and screeded taking particular care of water drainage into drains and planters.
It is a formulated dry shake, colouring and hardening agent. Applied while the concrete is wet and at the troweling stage of the installation. Colour hardeners are a blend of Portland fine aggregate, iron oxide pigments and workability aids. The colour hardener is hand cast and is best applied when there are no water remains on the concrete surface.

Every installation is different, but the average driveway takes about a week depending on weather. Concrete should never be installed when the temperature drops below 3 centigrade in the daytime or below -1 centigrade at night as it can affect the durability and strength of the concrete. We also never install pattern imprinted concrete when rain or showers are forecast as it will impair the finish of the concrete imprint.

I had a wall built and a pathway laid, Paul’s work was excellent and has stood the test of time as the work still looks as good as new ten years later!

I obtained 3 quotes for my large driveway, all for patterned concrete. Paul’s quote was the middle of the three, but his explanation of the work and rational approach made me feel the job would be done to my satisfaction. The choice of patterns and colours, as well of allowance for electrics, cabling and gas pipes, gave me a lot of confidence.
He arrived as arranged, and the job was completed on time, despite weather disruptions. I’m very happy with the job, and have already referred Paul to several other people. Very pleased.

Paul and his team recently completed both our patio and our driveway. They were Professional, Punctual and hardworking. Of all the company’s we asked for a quote Paul was the only one to not only turn up but did so bang on time . The work is excellent and both the patio and driveway have turned out way better than we could have hoped even to the point other people in the street are now having work done too.
