Acorn Electrical Supplies first opened its doors in June of 1984, operating out of a small unit off Jackson Street in St. Helens with an aim of providing a quality and friendly service for the local electrical trade. For over 30 years we have offered a friendly and professional service to all of our customers, both locally and Nationwide.

Notorious B.O.B has been with us since 2000 after moving down from Edinburgh where he worked for one of the national wholesalers. Bob has supported Hibernian all his life and since moving down to Merseyside has been a season ticket holder at Everton. So, with his three teams being Scotland, Hibs and Everton Bob doesn't have much to shout about at the moment.
Geoff has been in electrical wholesaling for the whole of his adult life and considering he's almost 107 years old that's quite a long time. Geoff joined us in 1999 after working for one of the national wholesalers for a number of years. He is a keen Liverpool supporter and hasn't stopped banging on about winning the league.

Fantastic Local Business, Everybody has this Thing in their head about Local Business`s ,because they aint a Corperate & flooding us with media at every angle they must be expensive!!.. I am a Customer of Acorn and i`m a local Bloke , i know what i want ,but i need reassureance of the product i want, i get this at Acorn and most of the time cheaper than our Media Fundraisers like B&Q and Screwfix..
