Clive Wright (founder) was studying for a degree in Fine Art whilst buying, restoring and selling Victorian and Edwardian furniture through auction. The business developed into making specialist bespoke commissions, gradually encompassing design, furniture making, decorative finishing and fitting. In 1992, the business focused primarily on private interiors leading to Clarity Arts Ltd being established in 1994.
Since that time, the business has continued to innovate, grow and expand its skills and portfolio of furniture and services. Based from our 25,000 square foot facility in Summerbridge, North Yorkshire; encompassing showroom, design studio and manufacturing, Clarity Arts now employs over 25 staff that are all committed to delivering our customers a truly bespoke and brilliant customer experience.

Services
A typical project begins with a consultation at your home or in our studio in Summerbridge. If the space is not ready at this early stage, we can work from architect's drawings to produce our design. The design proposal and itemised quotation will be presented to you by our designer at a second meeting.
You do not have to choose from a fixed range or collection - every component is made from scratch in our factory in Summerbridge. So whatever the size or shape of your room, the space can be used to its full potential. With this creative freedom, our designers can draw from a wide pallet of materials and finishes to realise a plan completely individual to your home.

We are delighted with all the work Clarity Arts did for us in our renovation . We had a large extension built which had a number of delays with issues that are maybe normal in a period property but none of it fazed Clarity Arts and nothing was too much trouble when dealing with their designer Sarah . The design and quality of our finished kitchen are just gorgeous and we could not be happier . We will recommend with hesitation as the whole team and the finished result were fabulous. 5 star and beyond

Very poor experience, where do we start. Incorrect pricing to what was stated - poor quality - bad tempered owner prone to bouts of excessive drinking - all pictures on their website must have to be library images - tin pot outfit stay well clear - For a truly stress free experience use Richard Grafton Interiors in Harrogate not Calamity Arts !

My husband and I have used Clarity Arts to practically refurbish our whole house over a number of years. In 2009 they replaced 3 bathrooms in our house to an exceptional standard, both with the completion of the work and the imaginative design. We have recently completed a major extension and renovation project which has meant Clarity Arts designing, making and fitting a new kitchen/diner, another new bathroom and new bedroom furniture throughout. They by far outrank any other local companies in terms of their inspirational designs, quality of the cabinetry and other fittings and standard of workmanship

I used this company in the past, not impressed. Shocking service and poor quality items given the over pricing they employed on my wife and I. This was supposed to be a pleasant experience and fast turned sour. Stay well clear of this outfit and use a plethora of other reputable interior fit out companies that there are in the Harrogate area. Shocking.
