FilterPod, the non-electric, sustainable sewage treatment solution for both domestic and commercial sites. Crystal traditional two chamber Septic Tanks can be fitted with a septic tank filter to protect the soakaway. These tanks produce a much better effluent than 'Onion' shaped ones. Our laboratory tests have shown that Crystal septic tanks produce an effluent that is less polluting to the environment.

They are very versatile and the inlet can be made to suit any drain depth. They also have a much shallower in-ground depth. 25 year tank warranty. Septic tank emptying arranged nationwide. Septic tanks can only discharge to a soakaway drainfield (with Environment Agency permission) and cannot discharge to a ditch.

The Crystal is the only one that can be used with our Non-Electric FilterPod sewage treatment plant. Sustainable non-electric bio treatment plants produce almost pure water and can also be used to convert existing septic tank systems into a full wastewater treatment plant. They are installed after the septic tank and supply the missing biozone and final settlement tank present in a three stage sewage treatment plant.
Services
Sewage treatment plant processes fall into two main categories: electrically operated and non-electric sewage treatment systems. There is no such thing as the PERFECT sewage treatment plant - although the manufacturers will all claim that theirs is the BEST.
The acclaimed VORTEX Eco Electric sewage treatment plant is the most advanced system in the UK. Much cheaper to run than all non-electric treatment plants. It is the only fully adjustable sewage treatment plant in the UK, ideal for low occupancy situations, which cause massive problems for most treatment plants.
The APEX sewage treatment plant is designed for use where the installation of a septic tank is either unacceptable or impractical and a connection to the main sewer impossible. The APEX domestic sewage treatment plant offers an extremely efficient and unobtrusive means of sewage disposal. The APEX is a three stage sewage treatment plant.
It is far more sustainable than even the traditional septic tank as unlike the annual emptying requirement of a septic tank, the FilterPod emptying interval is 1 to 3 years, whilst still giving a superb purity when using a two stage settlement tank. The FilterPod sewage treatment plant was tested for the EN12566-3 2005 at PIA, Aachen, Germany, the same test centre used by WPL, Klargester, Conder, etc.
Septic tanks which discharge into either Soakaways or Ditches/Streams/Rivers are no longer allowed under new legislation. All existing septic tanks can only discharge into correctly tested and designed Drainage Fields that are designed to BS 6297 2007 + A1 2008 Old fashioned Soakaways are no longer allowed.

I have just spoke to James and he was incredibly helpful, even though it is unlikely that we will become a client.
